Tour description

Snow Adventures is a multi-day winter itinerary for guests who want to experience the main highlights of the Kola Peninsula in one trip without complicated logistics. The tour combines Northern Lights hunts, outings to the sea and mountains, northern activities with animals and snowmobiles.

The program offers two chances to see the Northern Lights: a main evening outing and a backup window in case the forecast changes. Daytime activities are arranged to introduce guests to Murmansk, Teriberka, Kirovsk and nearby attractions in sequence.

The format suits couples, friends and families. The base price is for a package without accommodation; our team can arrange a hotel stay or focus on cottages at AURORA PARK.

Day-by-day itinerary

Arctic workshop and Northern Lights “hunt”

The first evening begins in the warmth: at 18:00 we meet the guide and head to an Arctic workshop. We prepare and taste seafood; part of the experience takes place outdoors at the barbecue, with the rest indoors. Enjoy a cozy atmosphere, good conversation and the right northern mood before the night ahead.

At 21:00 we set out in search of the Northern Lights: full and in good spirits, we travel with a guide to find a clear sky and open horizon. At 01:00 we return to Murmansk, where the guide drops everyone off at their hotels.

Teriberka!

The main day of the tour is all about the Barents Sea. At 08:00 we meet at the Meridian Hotel and set off for Teriberka. Along the way, we stop in the tundra for photos and genuine northern scenery.

From 10:30 to 13:00 we visit the main natural sights: Teriberka Park, the waterfall and a wild beach. At 13:00 there is an Arctic lunch at a restaurant along the route. Then at 14:00 we explore Old Teriberka: the bay, atmospheric swings and the famous ship graveyard. We arrive back in Murmansk at 16:30–19:30 — free evening. You can add a 2-hour boat trip for RUB 4,500 per person.

Khibiny Mountains and Kirovsk

The early start and long drive to Kirovsk are worth it. At 7:00 we have breakfast at the hotel; at 8:00 we set off—the drive becomes a sightseeing trip with stops at scenic corners of Khibiny.

K 11:30 we reach the cable car, ride up for mountain views and stop at a café with a view. At 13:00 lunch in town. The program then picks up: at 14:15 Snow Village; at 15:45 the Apatite Museum and Exhibition Center; at 17:00 Mystery Forest art park. At 18:00 we head back and reach Murmansk by 21:00.

Snowmobiles, huskies, and reindeer

The final day is the busiest. At 10:00 we meet and set off for the Severnoe Siyanie countryside park.

From 11:00 to 15:00 is the main activity block: a snowmobile safari along forest trails, walks with huskies and meeting reindeer. At the same time, from 12:20 to 16:00 the ethnographic village program runs, with local culture, daily life and animals. At 15:00 lunch is served at the park café. At 16:00 we return to Murmansk. We recommend booking return tickets no earlier than 18:00.
